Winter is just ending and there is no better way to bring on spring than to think about gardening. Raising Richland: A Community Gardening Summit will kick-start your resolution to grow in health and fertilize relationships in the New Year.

Winter is just end and there is no better way to bring on spring than to think about gardening.  Raising Richland: A Community Gardening Summit will kick-start your resolution to grow in health and fertilize relationships in the New Year.

Speakers will focus on community gardening success stories; planting, care & maintenance; and food/gardening safety.

Gardeners from the extended family,neighborhoods, religious groups, schools, municipalities, youth groups (i.e., 4-H) and others will benefit from learning about resources to improve soil, choose, raise, harvest and preserve food, form partnerships and manage details of community gardens.


The event is free and open to the public.  Come and learn how you can get involved in community gardening to benefit your family and/or the community, plus learn many gardening tips to make your "green" year successful.
