COLUMBUS, Ohio -- If you are looking for that perfect plant, tree or shrub for your home garden or yard, then Ohio State University's Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens spring plant sale might have just what you need.

The annual Spring Plant Sale, Auction, and Gardening Fair will take place May 9-10 and will offer over 500 varieties of uncommon plants and proven performers for Ohio's climate and soils. Plants that will be available at the event include annuals, tropicals, herbs, dwarf conifers, ferns, grasses, ground covers, hostas, perennials, shrubs and vines.

The plant sale runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 9, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 10. A tree and shrub auction will take place at 11 a.m. on both days. Sale and auction proceeds support Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens programs and operations.

The event will take place one block east of State Route 315 on the southwest corner of Lane Avenue and Fyffe Road on the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio. Free parking is available in the Vivian Hall lot, off of Fyffe Road.
